Apple and chicken tortilla wrap
The sweet friendly lady at the Cold Storage cooked food counter charmed me into buying a 1.5 kg cooked chicken and at $12, I must be crazy to refuse.
What a beast of a bird! After removing the breast meat for the dish, I still have 3/4 of a chicken for one tex-mex meal and another noodle dish for the family. Worth every dollar!
To assemble the super fast lunch for 2 :
Chop up 200g of chicken breast meat, 2 red apples and 4 little figs. Stir in 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Wrap everything in a flour tortilla and voila! Lunch is ready!
No figs, no problem! Use raisins instead. Contemplate adding of chopped nuts ( trail mix ) for texture. No tortilla? Use roti prata instead. Try mustard or any of your favorite sauce if you are a non mayonnaise person.
All the food group in a wrap without any sweat. Can't be any easier than that ( rhyme not intentional )
