Baking has taken a back seat because
lots have been happening since the start of the new year. But in between the busy times, I managed to
squeeze in some quick baking , especially these Florentines which needed only 10
minutes from start to end. It is the fastest
baking I have ever done in my life.
Just pop over to Phoon Huat,
grab a pack of Florentine powder ( Made in Germany ), spread thinly on a lined
tray and top it with sesame seeds, almond slivers and sunflower seeds. Bake at
180C for 7 minutes and enjoy gratification as soon as the Florentines harden.
Okay, in case it does not get
any obvious, remove the liner, break the crispy thin Florentines into designer
shapes and munch away.
