Chapati
This recipe happened by accident. Dinner was meant to be tortillas but it ended up as chapati because the flour used is whole wheat flour instead of plain flour.
Might as well, considering that previous recipes for chapati was far from ideal. The addition of baking powder has given the chapati some lift taking away the chewiness.
Now all I have to do is mop it up with some curry.
For 3.
1.5 cup whole wheat flour
2 Tab olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon baking powder
Mix everything in a bowl and stir. Knead o a floured surface until it is no longer sticky. Let rest for at least 15 minutes.
Roll into a rope and cut into 7 portions. Flatten each with a rolling pin. Fry on medium heat until brown spots appear.
Set it aside for 1 hour before serving.
