Scene :
9
pm.Monday night, at the living room sofa. There was an encore telecast of the
Olympic closing ceremony. I was at browneyedbaker, imagining all the cookies I
would bake.
Girl girl
, taking a Chinese homework break :
What are
you looking at?
Me :
Cookies.
They look so good !
Girlgirl
:
Are you
baking any ?
Me :
Maybe
not. I am only working on the thinking process.
Girlgirl
:
Whyyyy
???? ( it was the longest single syllabus word she has said for a week )
Scene :
10 pm. 20
medium cookies , piping hot from the oven, were ready for quality inspection by
girlgirl.
